I know this is played out at this point, but it really p---es me off we didn't re-sign Leon. Even if he isn't ready until mid-season he's still a better option than Shelden Williams.
Leon gave it everything he had for the team, and while they are under no obligations to sign him for that reason he was just absolutely everything i like in a bball player. Tough, Hardworking, Strong Finisher, Solid Position Defender, Great Teammate.
I just dont really get why we cant wait around half a year for a guy like that. Last time i checked NBA titles arent won in October, January or February. But rather in June, and while there is no guarantee he will be ready then I feel like the upside of a healthy Leon come June is about 1 Trillion times better than Shelden Williams.
p---es me off that we lost a guy like Leon.
