just reading this interview with Boki Nachbar today on Hoopshype:

http://blogs.hoopshype.com/blogs/sierra/2009/07/14/bostjan-nachbar-unless-something-dramatic-happens-im-going-to-turkey/

I'd pushed for the idea of adding him last year after his russian squad stopped paying him. I'd very happily give this guy the LLE to back up pierce, but it sounds like he might not take it. Anyone else?

Here's a reminder of his ability to get to the basket:

There's a reason why he is going to Turkey.

No thanks.

When talking about potential backups for PP now I try and picture the guy playing minutes with Sheed. Give me a minute to digest.   :-X

His website says he would like to make an NBA return. If we can't trade for something better, I think he would be worth an offer.

So what is he, Gerald Green Lite?

He had an excellent stint with New Jersey. He's very active, can shoot and drive, and plays fairly good defense. He's also got very gopod size for a SF -- like, 6'9". So if Gerald wasn't a complete idiot and could give any kind of effort on the defensive end of the floor -- maybe

Yeah, I'd be interested in Nachbar. He's not the ideal type of target (poor defense), but he's a solid all-round player who could help the Celtics.
