Sheed's a lock, who's next?
From comments i get that the first priority is a SF, but i thought going after the PG spot with the LLE would be a better idea.
In addition, we still need a PF.  Is Baby worth any price at this point?  (I say give him at least two years, then trade him after this one)
Which FAs are first on everybody's list?  Personally i wouldn't use the LLE on Hill or Mcdyess and i don't think we can get them with minimums.  I wouldn't mind Barnes though.
I would definitely take Hill over Barnes. Hill is still a better player. Still doesn't have a great 3, but everything else is good. And Hill can play point forward.

OK I'm as pumped as anyone about the Hill signing BUT a dose of reality:

He's 38.
He's notoriously injury prone.
He's 38.

This is not the grant hill of 1995.

Agreed, but for the record, he is 36, and will be 37 for the season.
Looking at my gucci, and it's about that time...

Grant Hill hasn't been "injury prone" in several years.

I think Hill gets locked up with the LLE before the end of the week, then things settle down for a while.  I don't see them signing Lue or anyone like that until August.  They'll want to see how the kids play in Orlando, but more importantly see what veterans don't look like they're going to get a decent contract offer and might be willing to play for short money.  Other than dealing with BBD after he signs an offer sheet somewhere, things should quiet down for a while.  No trades until camp, if they are going to trade Scal and TA for a veteran big or backup PG, no point in doing so until you see who might be available as a vet-min free agent.
