She had no strong factual proof whatsoever. This book was written solely for monetary purposes; I feel sorry for people who cannot realize that.
I'm amazed by this... I respect the hell out of a number of posters on here who are killing Selena Roberts!! What did she do?? She broke the story legally and within the realm of journalistic ethics while ON ASSIGNMENT FROM HER BOSS! That's just good old fashioned source working and fact checking. The scumbag Rodriguez admitted it in a sham of a press conference where all questions asked and information released was carefully controlled by the Flankee PR department. What has Roberts possibly done wrong? Publish a book to pay off her efforts... Why the hell not? If he did it, and sufficient evidence exists to support that claim, then why shouldn't she expose it?
As for Rodriguez, he just keeps reaching new lows. This, as a trite and petty Red Sox fan, is just plain enjoyable.
