Perks not helping his case by Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing to the ref on every call. No doubt he gets singled out but the complaining to the refs only makes it worse.

They need to clear up the definition of what is an illegal screen at the end of the season. They cleaned up the block-charge rule with that 6 ft arc although there was a wrong ruling Rose vs Davis in the final minute of regulation that cost Boston 2 critical points.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

Whether this makes any difference or not, according to Woody Paige on "Around the Horn",he did some research on number of refs from major cities, found 40 officials to be natives of the NY,Philly, and Chicago areas.Woody agrees that the NBA should make a effort to place these refs in places other than their home states during the playoffs.

this isnt a new thing...refs call boston a lot closer than any other team....there have been some really bad calls go against boston this season:

-fisher fouling ray at the end of OT
-the clips getting a TO when big baby had possession
-6 men on the court vs the blazers...

they look for the C's more...i mean in OT i watched noah go right over the back of baby....no call

Well,  it is good politics by Doc to try this...but look, Perk SUCKS at those screens, everytime i see him do one in replay, he is late to the spot, moves all over, leaning, last game he stuck his leg out to get the guy and he tripped him..LATE in the game, and it was very costly...He just cannot do it or learn it, so make him stop it...let someone else do it, have perk run the baseline, move thru the middle...he has been getting these same fouls ALL YEAR.....he just cannot learn...But, his D overall is better (still needs to stay in the paint and stop chasing guards) and he is almost GREAT on offense, so stop wasting time and fouls with that high screen..no one EVER passes to him on the roll..it is a wasted play...stopit DOC..!

To be fair, though, Rondo got an +1 off Brad Miller in a similar situation last game.

I think the proof of whether this works will be if they call Noah or Miller for any illegal screens this game.  I can't off the top of my head recall one illegal screen on Noah, and I think I vaguely recall Miller getting one but I'm not 100% sure.  Hopefully Doc's planted the seed and they'll call it both ways though.

Just saw it. If my math is right it adds up to $65,000 worth of fines this season. That's a hefty price for expressing displeasure, maybe Perk helps his coach out?
