Scal belongs out there huh.....LOL, good thing you aren't the coach...coach!!! Tell me why should anyone cover him out there....they don't now, when will they start..? Oh his 3 point shooting ability, yes, isn't he going to be in the 3 point competition soon...? It is more like 5 on 4 when he is out there. No offensive rebounds, no post action, no midrange shot....Hey, want to but a bridge...? Hey, wait a minute,,..you are one of those guys that write crazy things like this to get everyone else going...right..?

I don't think it is likely, but if either Leon Powe or BBD are traded for a legit C or guard , would you want Antoine Walker back as insurance as the 3d PF behind Scal and KG?

You meant as a player? I thought this was a "who should replace Lucky" thread.

Yeah.

I mean the coach only starts Scali when KG or Perkins is out.

And the Celtics have a great record with him starting or playing 15+ minutes.

AS for the three point shooting contest, no Celtics is in it.

My guess here is that someday(hopefully very far in the future)5 days after Antoine's obituary hits the Chicago Sun Times, a poster will start a thread on Celticsblog speculating if the Celtics should pick up Walker because even dead he's better than the Celtics 12th man.

If Brian Scalabrine didn't get paid the ridiculous amount that he does than everyone would love him and think he was a perfect fit for the team. you can't look at stats to judge what he does. you have to watch the game and see the fact that when he's covering a guy he plays REALLY solid defense and contests every shot.

Are there actually any reports on what Toine's up to since his DUI?  I know we're all assuming he's getting fat and drunk, but is there any talk of him training?

I'm fairly certain he's done; however, if he got himself into shape, he could help more than anybody else out there.

Hmmm valid point Ghand, even my immense hate for him would be quelled if say he made...1 mil? (does anybody know what Pollard was paid last year, I think it was less?)
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

I havent seen Antoine play since the Finals a few years back. I understand he has regressed considerably but wonder if he could help. He was always a decent rebounder, passer and a fantastic "spirit" guy. If he can still rebound, I am sure he can still pass, and hit the occasional three he could have fantastic value in the playoffs. Remember, it only takes a few, maybe one or two great plays at the right time in the playoffs to payoff big. Ideally we want a long big and maybe a defensive wing but can we get them?
