Backup SF is a need. It might be one we can work around but in an ideal world you want a 6'8" - 6'10" that Lebron/Rashard Lewis/Lamar Odom can't easily shoot over..or post up too easily.

That guy for us right now is Brian Scalabrine. I think Danny can do better. I would personally give up some BBIQ for a guy with a better body like Balkman or a go for a total upgrade in all aspects with a guy like Battier (I think he might be injured though). Or even get just another "quick" PF like Warrick to fill in a bit.

How do you upgrade a 24-2 team? You determine which players in your rotation are your worst players and you replace them or knock them down in your rotation. It's straight forward for the C's. Our backup center (BBD) and our backup SF (Scalabrine) are the worst guys.

The fact that TA can fake it against some SF doesn't really change the path Danny should take..

A taller sf or in general decent sf would be nice but it gets complicated when you also have to worry about inheriting their contract.

Bill walker to me is such a sf and could help us alot instead of scal and so could pruitt instead of house but doc favors vets

Definitely need a big, and another outsisde shooter. The idea that we can repeat with this bench is something I strongly disagree with.

While I agree that it's a need (or at least a very strong "want"), I don't think that we have the trade chips to get a guy like Battier or even Balkman.  We really don't have a lot of assets right now; I don't think other teams are particularly high on BBD, POB, Giddens or Pruitt.

What about Bonzi Wells?  How tall is he?
