Like what I have heard about Walkers commitment to making the team. As, I have mentioned before - this guy played with Mayo in HS and Beasley in College, he is not going to let those guys leave him in the dust. He is going to try to prove that he can play at the same level.
Recent interviews of Walker led me to think that perhaps he has been controlling the information on his knee in order to get to the team he wanted. If you think about it, draftees have little leverage. They can control who they work out with and they can control the flow of medical information. If, as he has said, the knee issue was "no big deal" and if the C's "knew it was no big deal all along", it causes me to wonder if he was leaving some in the dark in order to get to the team he wanted.
In any case hope he can make a splash and play some meaningful minutes behind PP. Camp will be very competitive.
