Hinrich is a perfect back-up point guard. He is a complement to Rondo and could easily slide into the 2 when needed.

He seems like he would be expendable now with Rose coming on board.

I don't know the salary implications, but could we land him with our first rounder?

Or what about signing Delonte?

Delonte is not a great ballhandler and we'll have the same problems with ball pressure.  I'd rather re-sign Eddie House and pick up a free agent veteran point guard (Anthony Johnson, White Chocolate, Lue or Cassell to name a few), one we don't have to trade away assets for.  I believe Delonte is restricted, so I believe it would have to be a sign and trade.  I really don't think Delonte is worth giving up assets for at this point, especially since big bodies that we need like Davis or Powe would likely have to be in the deal.

We don't have anything to send back to Chicago, either in terms of fair value or in necessary matching contracts.

The only way we could make salaries work is to wait until after the draft, and build a package around Scal and Tony Allen (assuming he accepts a qualifying offer).  Presumably, Chicago doesn't go for that.  Further, we don't have any players or picks the Bulls would consider for Hinrich.  He's a talented player who is worth much more than the #30 pick in the draft.

As for Delonte, as Jeff mentioned on the front page, he seems happy in Cleveland, and even if he did want to sign elsewhere, he's a restricted free agent, giving Cleveland to match any offer he gets.  I don't think he's a possibility, either.

As I've said in another thread. I really like Thabo Sefolosha from the bulls. He might not be a big name, but he's a great guard off the bench (both point and shooting guard). To me, he's a bit like Shaun livingston in the sense that he has great skills with equally great size (although his skills might not be as well polished as Shaun's and he's definitely stronger than Shaun). But according to a bulls fan of mine, Thabo would be one guy the bulls are unwilling to trade away. But I'm sure if we can get enough value, and it will probably cost a Big Baby.
Anything is possible!!!

Hinrich is a starting PG.  To much money

I would love to have West back, but it just isn't a likely option for the Celtics.
