god the nba has truly turned into a pansy league!  the decision was made by the officials, after using to the video review. that should be enough.

IMO it's about control.  Stern wants to control the players, how they dress, what they say and now he wants to control their emotions, as if that was possible... but Stern is going to try!

i'm totally against the ron artest running in the stands brawl type of stuff - but i'm all for an occasional kurt ramis clothesline.  :)

KG had his hands up in the air before anything escalated.  He didn't deserve his tech if anything they should scratch it from the books.

he started it, he slapped down and across the guys face. he got smacked back.

It shouldn't be a tech for either of them, nor an issue, but KG wasen't some angel in the play in question.

What play were you watching?  KG fouled Bogut (on the arms, not the face) and Bogut flailed his arms to exaggerate the contact and swiped KG across the face, at which point KG pushed Bogut (again, another exaggeration by Bogut)  I agree, it shouldn't have been a tech for either of them, but I don't see how you can say KG started it.  And there wouldn't have been any technicals called if Bogut didn't try exaggerate the push by KG.  He was trying to get a tech on KG, and it backfired.

ok, sure. Kg can do no wrong i forgot, lets go with that version of events.  I thought i also saw him try to save a puppy bogut was getting ready to kick on the way back to the locker room ::)

It was a non issue, KG slapped down and across boguts face (as part of the play, tough to keep track of what your oppnonet is doing when your fighting for a rebound) and bogut smacked him back. non-issue, happens 4-5 times a pickup game.

Boguts not sitting thier twirling his mustache on the bench going:

MUhahahHAHA!!! the next time KG wacks me in the face while were both fighting for a rebound, i shall attempt to draw a technical with my mad acting skillz!!!!

he got smacked in the face while they were going after a rebound hard, and took exception. again, non issue in pickup, HS, and college. but in the NBA, its a huge deal.

KG didn't hit Bogut in the face, he hit him across the arms.  What Bogut did to hit Garnett in the face  wasn't a basketball move.  I'm not saying Garnett was without fault, because he didn't need to push Bogut afterwards, but this made up scenario in your mind of him starting the altercation is bogus.
