I hate Pat Riley, but I remember him using using the "Survive and Advance" mantra back in 1988 when they beat Utah, Dallas and Detroit in 3 straight 7 game series, all 3 of which they had the homecourt advantage. I believe this should be in the back of our minds once we begin round 2 in Cleveland.

I'd just assume to go ahead and lose. It's taking everything Doc Rivers has to beat the worst team in playoff history. We don't stand a chance against Cleveland/Detroit/Orlando or the west.

At least if we lose the Rivers era can come to a close.

Edit: I want to add I'm not quitting on the Celtics just demonstrating tough love and sacrifice.

Let's go get the [dang] Hawks on Sunday and get on with the playoffs.

You know, wherever they might be this weekend, and not that they want the Celts to lose, but I figure the real Big 3 are smiling at all this with a little amusement.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce
