I am having this feeling as well.

Boobie Gibson being out helps a little as he is one of Lebron's main subordinates coming off the bench.

I feel as though Wally will not shoot as well as he has been. I really hope (and think) that Doc has realized that the key to success against this team is keeping the bench short and letting our guys play their style of ball and letting the Cavs react to us instead of vice versa.

That being said I see this game being another tough one much like game 5 with the Celts out on top.

Go Celts!

celtics need to play game 5 3rd quarter defense the whole game today. They need to execute some shots to get the crowed out of the game and keep the cavs off balance.

It will be a tight game with the way lebron will be given calls from the refs. Forget perk, we need leon and davis to come in and take some charges to scare off lebron from driving in every single time he can.

We will win tonite by 2 or 4. It will be an exciting game tonite

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
I chose a long time ago to remain optimistic, and believe that every next road game is the first one the C's will win. No reason to change my mind now. I do believe if the C's play this one right, continue to play excellent D, attack the basket, and get Ray involved, they should come out on top.

Bring on Game 7.   :)

Cavs will be much more focused tonight.  Look for Z to get a lot more than 5 shots.  Also get ready for a lot better ball movement out of the Cavs.

The home crowd will be going crazy and the bench guys will be motivated. The Cavs had big leads in games 2 and 5 and small Boston run got the Celtics crowd back into the game which motivated the Celtics.  The Celtics won't have that home crowd to rely on tonight.

Everyone say it with me....Lets go Cavs!  Lets go Cavs!

Okay, cavs fanatic rant over.....look for Rondo to be the key to whether the Celts win or lose tonight.  Hopefully (for me) the Cavs can rattle him early

The Cavs loss of Gibson might be the difference in Game 6.

The Celts played them almost even through 3 quarters then 2 things happened:

1) Doc went with a bizarre lineup of Sam, Ray, Posey, BBD and PJ to start the 4th
2) Gibson (8 points, numerous breakdowns of Sam off the dribble, got several loose balls)

Gibson had 8 of their first 12 points in the quarter, gave them a lot of energy in the 4th quarter when both teams were tired and struggling on offense(The Cavs missed 7 straight shots over a 4:10 stretch of the 4th period but the Celts could only get basket). Gibson hit the 3 pointer that put them up 5 at the 8:45 mark. Gibson also got the offensive rebound that kept the Celts on defense for 45 seconds. Lebron finally hit that 3 to break the drought and Gibson followed with the back breaker.

If they didn't have him Monday, the Celts probably would have won the game.

Rondo should go straight at Delonte - I wouldn't object to the first two or three plays being isos for him.  If the refs are calling tight and Delonte gets a couple of early fouls, the Cavs have nobody that can guard Rondo.  Rajon's first move on every play should be to do his best to make Damon Jones cry.

i dont know why but i feel good about this game than any other game in the series

Same here.

Call it an epiphany (a lot of them on Celticsblog in the last days^^), but I`m absolutely certain they`ll win this road game.

I feel the same way I've felt before each road game so far (with the possible exception of Game 3 vs. Cle).  The Celts are the better team and I am confident they will win.

Hats off to your confidence.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

The only game 7 I'm looking forward to is La vs Utah.  The C's win tonight...convincingly.

Honestly, even though it makes no sense and I have nothing to back it up, I feel about tonight's game like I did about game 7 vs. Atlanta: calm and confident.

Rondo has 20 points, 10 assists.

Ray breaks out of his slump.

Pierce limits LeBron to 25ish points.

KG has 20 points, 10 boards.

Perk guards Ilgauskas well.

Eddie gets some minutes, not only at the end of the game when we're up 15...

Posey is Posey.

Brown gets 5 fouls in 10 minutes making sure there are no easy baskets.

Sam makes sure the bench is nice and warm.

Baby tackles D. West.

Powe has a ferocious dunk.

T.A. ponders if he will get to guard Rip next round.

D. West gets in foul trouble, Wally World will shoot 36%, Lebron gets breathed on and whines, Ilgauskas will finally miss his jumpers, Ben Wallace shows his age, Joe Smith has an average game (8-10 points), Damon Jones gets owned  ;D, and Varejao is Varejao.

Go Celtics.  ;)
