Could Jaylen have enough trade value to get Stephon Castle? A Big 3 of Wemby, D Fox & Jaylen would be phenomenal. The Spurs might do it. So Stephon Castle + cap make weighs like Devin Vassell or Keldon Johnson. I don't know that San An has many big contracts anymore since the D Fox trade. Boston may need to include picks if Spurs have to give up both D Vassell and K Johnson in addition to S Castle.

interesting options. my thoughts:
1. intriguing but not without sweetener from Toronto. Barnes has some good all-around skills but shooting isn't one of them. don't see Barnes being able to carry the team when Tatum sits.
2. nope. Ball's got a worse injury history and a far lesser player.
3. Murray lacks the consistency on the court and health to be worth trading for.
4a, b & c. all intriguing. C's get young players with potential and cheaper deals.
5. I think Brown is better and Siakam plays the same position as Tatum.
6. mentioned in the other thread that Memphis needs to add more to the deal, not the C's kicking in picks.
7. Orlando needs to send more. Need a better grasp of Wagner's defense to know if he's a defensive sieve. also, Wagner would be a suitable Al replacement but need to get someone to step in for Jaylen.
8. Maxey is intriguing. typically healthy and productive. not quite as good as Jaylen at his best but doesn't seem to have as many bad games as Jaylen.
9. Booker -- better offense but much worse defense. comparable value but I like that Jaylen can shut down another scorer when he's focussed whereas I don't see Booker being much of an impediment
10. not enough. 3 ok/decent players would add depth but would prefer someone who's at least close to the same level as Jaylen
11. not nearly enough value. Vassell, Sochan or Johnson aren't nearly as talented and we're in win-now mode so future picks aren't a priority.
12. Markkanen's an inferior player. need more assets coming back. reasonable replacement for Al but looking for a Jaylen replacement.
13. don't need a rookie unless it's Flagg.
