He never really developed like process era dreamers envisioned and has further been set back by injury, but would he make sense as a 4th big for us? I don’t think he will command very much money.
Saric has been playing more as an undersized offensive orientated center than a big forward in recent seasons. He has seen more success playing against bigger slower players than playing on the perimeter against quicker defenders. I see him more as a 3rd string center option than a backup PF for us. I like him as a 3rd string center. I would be very happy to add him to the team.
I tend to think of him as a large wing rather than a big. I have barely noticed him since his early days with Philly when that team was a tanking circus. I thought he had talent back then, but that team destroyed the careers of a bunch of players. I wonder if he could rebound his career with a defined role in a winning culture. I’d certainly offer him the $5 mill.
