Ime tried to sneak him a couple of rest minutes at the beginning of the 4th and the team completely collapsed. Tatum came back in and just lit it up - he was really something else tonight. Tatum's been good, but this is what we've been waiting for and why he'll be 1st Team All-NBA this season.

Tatum needed the rest. But it could’ve gone really badly had the C’s not had a big margin. Fortunately, building a big lead gives you a cushion to make mistakes or withstand a run without your best player on the floor. Everything then stabilized again once JT got back on the floor
