So do we think he’s our Horford replacement? And then we need a Grant replacement?

That might be the one way things go.

Sure Brad has plan A, B , C , and D

I'm finally feeling vindicated for comparing him to PJ Tucker for a couple of years. He has become that for us. Excellent shooter, and an acceptable passer, but doesn't provide too much else on offence. On defence, can be given just about any task and will commit 100% to it. Puts his body on the line and is more than happy to get under the skin of the opposition with his physical style of play.

I love Grant! He was who I wanted us to select with the pick (I also was high on Nassir Little, Daniel Gafford, and Kabengele - so I had a 50% chance of getting anyone decent :P), and I've had faith the whole way!

I feel like I jinxed us and Grant with this thread.  Since I started it, he's shooting 5-for-22 overall, 2-for-13 on 3PTs, is averaging 4.0 rebounds, and is -20.

So, let me try again:  where would we be without a leap by Grant Williams?  Apparently, down 3-2 in this series, because what we're seeing in this series is exactly what Grant Williams looked like before his "leap":  crappy scoring, no rebounding, no ball-handling and just being too outsized to do much of anything.  Despite that anemic production (6 points, 4 rebounds, terrible shooting and the team being outscored), he's playing 30 minutes per game.

Grant Williams sucks and he stinks and he sucks.

Do you still love him now  :P
