I sort of stopped reading at Pritchard being a future all star lol. Pritchard is destined to be a 2/3rd pg option (and possibly a solid one). He’s never going to start on a contender and he’s never going to sniff an all star vote let alone all star game lol.
Definitive claims like this never age well…
Fairly positive this claim will age just fine lol. I like Pritchard but he’s not going to ever make an all star team. Could be a solid rotation/bench guy though.

Watching the end of this game, where whenever Pritchard was on the floor he was clearly the worst of the ten players on the court and our weakest defensive player by far, I’m fairly positive the claim will age fine. Theis should have been subbed for Timelord the last 2-5:00 mark in the fourth. Pritchard was just awful and probably cost us the game.

What the hell are you talking about. He was pretty good, hit 2 3s and was going to make a huge 3rd that was halfway down and fell out. White sucked again, I'm confident Ben Simmons can outshoot him

His defense was beyond horrid. There’s a reason the Mavs left him completely open and he still didn’t hit that gimme three.

I'll ask you, because nobody else who has been crapping on Pritchard has been able to answer me.

If Pritchard was so horribly woeful, why did the team statistically play its best with him on the floor?

Pritchard was fine. He provides energy as an 8th/9th man. We gave up a 1st and a pick swap and a 40% shooter in J Rich for a guy that is one of the worse perimeter shooting guards in the NBA right now, and keeps jacking them up. He is a fine, smart player, but he has to hit a shot or just stop taking them straight up. Also we overpaid a lot

He played most of his time with Luka and Dinwiddie on the bench? Thank goodness for that or this would have been real ugly.

White’s defense is elite. He’s a step below Smart on defense and hustle. All White needs to do is take smarter shots and pass when he’s not dropping them.

Pritchard was +9, Luka was +7, Dinwiddie was +13, and you’re claiming they were all playing at the same time? When did Pritchard become a member of the Mavs?

Sometimes a guy is +9 because he spent much of his time on the court with the opposing team’s best players on the bench. That’s what happened here. Pritchard was just horrid, horrid on defense. His defense is easily the worst on this team of our top ten.

How about the 4th quarter, which we started off behind, but moved in front with Pritchard on the floor? Doncic, Dinwiddie and Brunson were all on the floor. We went from down 3 to up 5, and we were still up when he was subbed off for RW3.

Weird how we took the lead despite him being so bad at defence. Maybe, just maybe, it's because we needed offence more.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
No GM nails every pick but DA nailed the two three picks in Brown and Tatum. Nobody knew the heat and work ethic of the Greek Freak. But We could have Day to Day AD on this team. Kemba to OKC was worked by Danny but Brad got it. I don't think we have made a mistake since Kyrie.

Here is what we could have as a team:
PG Kyrie?
SG Terry Rozier
SF Gordon Heyward
PF Jae Crowder
C KellyOlynk

Nader
Marcus Morris
Avery Bradley
Kemba Walker
Juan Hergonez
Romeo Langford
Dennis Schroeder
Josh Richardson
Jevonte Green
Semi Ojlee
Jeff Green

DA’s nailed a ton of great picks. Stealing Tatum plus a pick will go down as one of the greatest moves of all time. Right up there with getting Mchale or Robert Parish.

We have a legit young squad. Most are under the age of 25. We’re stacked.
