missed most of the game -- caught the 4th quarter on the bar TV during lunch. noticed no Timelord or White during the 4th quarter. can someone provide an explanation why they weren't in the game ahead of Pritchard?
Payton was playing arguably his best game of the season and White was having a bad game. Not sure about Rob. Al and Grant were both having good games. Someone had to sit.
TP for the update.
seems White is still not justifying what we gave up to get him.
This was his only disappointing game so far.
Still don’t understand the disappointment around the White trade. We’ve played incredibly well with him in this short span so far.
I agree -- White adds more to the team than JR or DS and I'm glad for the trade.
my issue with the White trade is the serious overpayment made to get him. if he isn't providing what JRich, Romeo and the player we would have taken in this year's draft would have been providing this year and going forward, it was a bad trade. so far, he hasn't provided that. He's a better ball handler and passer but his scoring is not what JRich provided and he cannot provide solid defense on 2 players at the same time as JRich and Romeo could.
From what I've seen, he's a decent bench player to have but not for what we gave up.
Not sure I see a serious overpayment for White. There were a bunch of trades this trade season moving picks and players for a player.
Harden cost Simmons, Curry, Drummond and 2 1sts.
Toronto had to move Goran Dragic and a 1st for Thad Young.
Detroit moved Josh Jackson, Trey Lyles and 2 2nds for Marvin Bagley
LeVert cost the Cavs a 1st and 2nds
Pellies paid a 1st, 2 2nds and two good players for McCollum and Nance
The Knicks paid a 1st for Can Reddish
The going price to acquire talent seemed to be right in line with what Brad paid for White on a bargain deal that's 3 years long.
