G.Will was trash last season but definitely improved this year. He was tremendous in that bubble playoff game against the Raptors.

You'all do realize that Grant was a 2-time SEC Player of the Year.

Yes, he has the perfect problem of being the wrong size for his pro position. He was fine in college and could just bully taller defenders, but of course most of the taller defenders in the NBA cannot be out-muscled the same way. Also, at Tennessee, he played inside and did not develop a 3-point shot. Obviously he has worked hard to improve his perimeter shooting. I met him here in Knoxville at an event for local kids - really a good guy. I played small-college and was surprised how much taller I was than him. But he was a great player at UT and is one of the most beloved players in the program's history. Very happy for his success with the Celtics.

Like many on here have said, not a great athlete, but a heady, well-liked player who does all the little things well. He's a Celtic, I like the guy, and hope he will be a Celtic for life. Don't think he has a ton of trade value, probably never will, because I envision him being more valuable to us than others.

I hope he becomes our Udonis Haslem: ultimate glue guy that everybody loves. Since his game isn't based on athleticism, he could "stick" for a long time.

Grant "The Glue" Williams. I like the sound of that!!
