I am going to sleep on every other team but the Celtics until the Celtics actually play that other team. Just too much going on with my Celtics to worry about or give a crap about any other team in the league.

Pleasant dreams!

LOL.
Well, I mean, come on. Couldn't a thread be made about not falling asleep on every team in the Eastern Conference?

Sometimes you just have to worry about what you are doing and what you can do better and not how good other teams are playing. Worry about that when you play them.

So yeah, in the meantime zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hope they suck big time cause I want us to trade for Siakam.

Where exactly would Siakam fit into this lineup? Who are you trading away for him.
The Raps desperately need a long-term solution at Center. It seems that Achiuwa ain't the answer to their problem. I asked some Raps fans whether they'd consider a deal with the Celtics for Siakam. Here's what one of them had to say:

''I could see us (=the Raps) considering something based around Robert Williams, a first rounder and Nesmith. Williams is a great fit at center for us, though his injury record is terrifying. Maybe Smart goes to a 3rd team and we get something, since the Celtics need more money out''.

That said, most posters would consider it only if Brown/Tatum were part of the deal.

PG: don't care (ideally, a pass-first, low-usage, oversized PG)
SG: Brown
SF: Tatum
PF: Siakam
C: don't care, but I'd love us to keep Horford

Raptors fans are some of the smartest observers in the league.

Giving up Nesmith, Smart, and TL is a lot. Oh, and a first-rounder thrown in for good measure. I wouldn't do it. The point about more money out is well taken, though.
If that got you Siakam you do it every single time

Schroder, Brown, Tatum, Siakam, Horford is an excellent and balanced starting 5.  Still have PP, Richardson, Langford, Grant, and Kanter as depth.  May not be a true contender, but a heck of a lot closer and a way better shot at a title in the future when the big 3 are all in their primes
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

It would be hard to make a trade work because of Rob's poison pill but this does work once Smart can be traded

Boston - Siakam
Toronto - Looney, Kuminga, Toscano-Anderson, Nesmith, R. Williams, Hernangomez
Golden St. - Smart

Raptors take on way too many players, but they could potentially move them elsewhere, but that complicates the trade even more.  Now if GS would trade and Toronto would want Wiggins then it becomes a lot easier to work as Juan can go to GS and only Wiggins would need to go to Toronto

ikr?

I wish.
'I was proud of Marcus Smart. He did a great job of keeping us together. He might not get credit for this game, but the pace that he played at, and his playcalling, some of the plays that he called were great. We obviously have to rely on him, so I’m definitely looking forward to Marcus leading this team in that role.' - Jaylen Brown, January 2021

Pretty complicated, but it's all dependent on Toronto wanting to move Siakam.

He's a great fit there, and they can't be blamed for thinking that OG/Barnes/Siakam plus the excellent depth they've got will make them a contender in the next couple of years.

It was a good year to have a top-5 pick. There might not be a consensus ROY.
