Smart for a signed-and-traded Alex Caruso.  Lakers don't want to lose him for nothing and he gives C's Smart's defense with better everything else.
Caruso sucks, why would we want him?
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)

PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)

He just got 4/37 from the Bulls.

Great defender, 40% from 3-point.  good in open court.

Guess that means nothing to you.

I like Caruso. Very similar to Pat Beverley. Caruso does not get enough credit for his talent. He is very good defensive minded glue guy.

I hope the Celtics will let us know how many players they were interested in and got close to signing so it won't just feel like crap in my shoe.

That's an absurd contract for him. As good as his defence is, his offence is as bad

In happy about ball, I really wanted nothing to do with him.

Not so happy about likely keeping Smart.

Brad Stevens job as GM so far...has me wanting Ainge back.

We basically lost Moses and TT for nothing, and downgraded from Fournier to Richardson.  This is a disaster unless Brad really pulls off some unexpected last minute  magic.

Danny probably smoking a stogie right now glad he doesn’t have to explain his cheapskate owners at a presser tomorrow.

Me too. I have always found it hard to trust CBS. Ainge was rock solid. So dependable. So brilliant. PBS is not exactly easing my nerves over the loss of Ainge.

I'm not overly thrilled, but I do wonder how much of a handicap our cheap ownership is proving to be.
