Glad to know the Celtics are still paying him almost 100k next season.  Hope it helps him pay the rent when he plays overseas for a Spanish League.

He's already been paid, that's just salary cap accounting purposes.

That is just how the cap hit was spread (stretched) out.  I suspect Jackson was paid fully per his original contract.   Not that it makes anyone feel any better about it.

Think about the Mets though.  They are still paying Bobby Bonilla (really paying him).
