You can't have too many shooters.

Does this mean we renounced our rights to either Tacko or Waters?

Both are RFAs, so we can technically extend a QO to either but that doesn't seem to be the plan, and I'm 95% sure that QO would be for a full NBA deal at the 1-year minimum.  A few weeks ago the news was that Tacko was still working out with Boston and would like to return, but Waters was working away from the team and was looking for a new opportunity.
I think we need a separate thread about Tacko.  He is an intriguing player, but Brad never consistently used him based on his greatest asset which is that he's taller than everyone else.  His presence requires a different style of play, which is to dump it into the post.  I was hoping that this style would be a nice change-of-pace to confuse the defense with a mismatch.  Hope he makes it somewhere.

Yes! Finally a shooter who is can shoot OVER people. Good get off the bench. Should be able to carve out a spot though someone needs to go.
Doubt that Waters or Fall are back with the team.

I read that The Heat were interested in Hauser so that's a plus!

Here's a nice pre-draft scouting report with supporting video and stats.

Agree. The one game Tacko started the C's played zone defense and Tacko was very effective. It reminded me of his stint on the Red Claws, who played zone almost exclusively and fed Tacko consistently under the rim.

Defensively he roamed around unencumbered in the paint to great effect. Offensively he helped spread the floor because any catch down low resulted in a dunk or foul.

The Claws were nearly unbeatable in that setup. I think it could be successful with the right personnel in the NBA too.

great read. it will be interesting to see whether the celtics can get the most out of his great shooting while keeping him from being hunted on defense.

thanks bb for the link. a tp for you.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
