Gotta have a bit of a tough time before you can get to the good times.

Grit isn't the result of being yelled at. It's the result of working through adversity.

This is our adversity.

Let's get through it, yungins.

I believe in the future of our 23 year olds.

Enough of talking about Tatum developing as if other teams are staying put. Have you seen the young talent around the league?

He scored 30pts average in the post-season.

My point is the rest of the league is not stagnant.

Yeah - and mine is that we're not stagnant either. Our superstar has set career highs all season.

exactly. too many fans view their team in a vacuum. are there things from the season for which to be encouraged? certainly. is there enough of it to improve relative performance year-over-year? that’s the $109mm question.

I remember when some preached that Danny should bide his time until LeBron retired or regressed as if he was the only threat. So now you have juggernauts in Brooklyn, Philly, and Miami.

If you think this team is unlikable or unwatchable or unbearable, then breaking news.... you don't have to watch them. There's 29 other teams. No basketball? Cool. There's the Sox or Belichick's team. Or - even though I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy - hawkey. You'll find something, I'm sure.

This team wasn't set up for success. There's just no way you can look at our roster composition/bench and claim otherwise. We didn't have the talent to compete and injuries + Covid made what we did end up rolling out in the playoffs a joke against the powerhouse that was Brooklyn.

Let's hope the team picks it up and comes back strong next season. But let's not crap on the players and expect them to give you their undoubted devotion.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson

SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan

C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman
