I like Semi but 34 minutes tonight. Sign of a really shallow roster. Hard to win with Nine guys that can't carry their own weight.  This team is built terribly. Thanks again Danny.

Jettison these players for better ones next season and we'll have a better team.  these are the ones that are collecting NBA checks that shouldn't.

GWill - showed last season he could be a real contributor.  not sure what happened this year but if he gets back to what he was at the end of last season, we have a player.
Semi - Has his moments.  decent defender at forward and when he can make a few buckets during the game, it's a significant boost because he then has to be guarded.  just doesn't happen enough.  that said, his rebounding isn't good enough to play him at PF for any real stretch of time.
Nesmith - way too early to close the book on him.  rookie with no camp.  shows hustle.  offense is looking better as he gets time.  would like to keep him to see what we have.
Romeo - kid needs to get healthy and stay healthy.  has shown some good D when on the court.  can drive for offense which we sorely lack.  want to give him another year to see what we have.  Took Timelord until season 3 to blossom.  Let's see if Romeo does the same.

Everyone is this group has shown something.  Ideally, they're your 11-14 players because you have some decent vets/better players ahead of them but sadly, we do not.  They're our 9-12 players with some better players ahead of them but some not-so-much-better players as well.

Romeo, when healthy, isn’t “garbage”. Not even close. He is easily a good rotation player, maybe a starter.

I don’t call an injured player “garbage”.

Yeah, maybe garbage isn't the best way to describe them because we know some players are capable of more, some are injured, some inconsistent etc. Much better to think of them as "zeros" that, for whatever reasons, are not producing. We have too many players who basically add nothing. The good players we do have need more than that around them.

when is Langford healthy?  Hasn't been in two seasons and was injured in college.  At some point, you can't just use the injuries as an excuse because at some point the injuries are who you are.  i'm not sure we are there yet, but Langford needs to get healthy and stay healthy very quickly.

He may never pan out. I object to calling him a “garbage” player. He’s a good player whose career might be cut short by injury.

Is he a good player? Do we know that for sure? I'm not saying he'll never have the chance to be a good player. I'm just saying based off of the evidence - which is nearly nonexistent at the pro-level - we don't know enough to know that he's a good player. We pretty much drafted him based on his high school ranking and he's been an injury list player since.

Another problem with the roster is that 3 of the 7-8 solid players on the roster play the same position and really shouldn't be sharing the floor at all.
