He's good. Wouldnt want him in Boston though because he would disrupt team chemistry.

I would rather go for Parker who's been riding the pine since the season started. Like Oubre, he has almost similar size but with more muscle. He's still young, athletic, good shooter, with decent post moves and some other intangibles.
Parker is on his 5th team in 7 years, been so injury prone he has played in just 285 games out of 500 he was eligible to play in and currently is so good and healthy that he hasn't played a single minute for the less than good Kings.

Sorry, for me that would be a hard pass. If the Celtics are trading for a wing it should be someone that can shoot threes, play some defense and not be a ball stopper, all things Parker isn't.

But, looking at things differently, picking up reclamation projects on the cheap and having Stevens coach them up to play much better is definitely something Ainge does. So Ainge picking up Jabari Parker on the cheap, could be a good call by you.

Luke Walton is awful.  Anything he does or does not do should just be ignored and disregarded.  I have no idea if Parker is hurt or has anything left, but he was at least decent in Atlanta last year before he ended up in Sacto (and he was fine the year before splitting time in Chicago and Washington).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Yes, Parker is the definition of average, decent and fine. But not in ways that the Celtics need him to be. He is constantly injured. He doesn't move the ball. He is an expiring contract. He isn't a good defender. And he is a bad three point shooter, like Marcus Smart bad for his career, though Smart has been much better at hitting the three over the last  2-3 years than Parker has. That isn't the type of player the team should be looking for.

I don't disagree, but I'd rather take the flyer on Parker than Oubre if we are talking about basically using the TPE and nothing else.

That said, I wouldn't use the TPE on either.

Agreed -- Jabari Parker is one of the worst defensive forwards in basketball. He is a good offensive player but not good enough to make up for his deficits on defense which is why teams have shown little to no interest in keeping him despite good offensive numbers.

Hard no on Oubre.

Hint as to why just for me personally: What do Artest, Jeff Green and Oubre all have in common?

I hold grudges.
