Oh my this guy cannot even hold a post game interview. He needs help from Kemba. Dump him Danny. 8)

Definitely a waste of a max! Now I am hoping we can keep him long term for sure..this season is slowly changing my expectations of what is to come in playoffs...Forgot how good a healthy, confident, selfless Gordon can be...

That injury robbed us of two years‘ worth of this Gordon. Dang. Gonna enjoy this year!

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism

we never really got to see him do it in Green. Really nice to see.

The injury really was a shame [obviously]. Danny put together an incredible team and we all got to enjoy it for like 5 minutes. Even though we had a moderately successful couple of years, we were never able to see it all play out. Luckily DA saved the offseason with Kemba and we are seeing a Hayward resurgence.

This season could be a LOT of fun. We have some really good players, but the ball movement and defense give us the ability to play greater than the sum of our parts...and a big part of that is Gordon.

Imagine if Kyrie hadn't thrown that bad pass to get Hayward injured.  History would look back a lot differently on the Celtics.

Fortunately for us Hayward is finally health now.  And he is making a positive impact.

The Celtics really have potential to make some noise in an Eastern conference that isn't really being dominated by any one team at the moment.

Longtime Hayward fan here.  I urge caution with the hyperbole, the Cavs are essentially a G-league team.  It's nice to see Hayward play well, but he had good games last season before returning to the norm.  Let's see him put a decent season together before we start talking about all-star appearances.
If only we'd played the Cavs every game! Then you could discount him averaging 20/7/4 with some merit

I mean... Lonzo Ball is shooting 40% from 3 right now... Should I just discount the last 2 years of his career and leap to the conclusion he's a great shooter?

I don’t know what I expected. I think at this stage you’d rather he stunk so your trolling would actually make sense

He is playing like Celtic fans thought he would when he was signed two years ago
