Regarding what I said about Kawhi, I was talking about his offensive profile instead of his game aesthetically. He's a volume scorer who ups his volume and efficiency in the playoffs (or maintains both of them) with a resilient offensive arsenal, but doesn't have the vision to consistently punish double teams by making high leverage passes to exploit gaps in the defense whenever they gang up on him. This combination of characteristics also leads to incredible ball security which pumps down his TO%. This profile is much more similar to Dirk/King/Gervin/Miller-offensive anchors who can ramp up their scoring with no loss in efficiency, but do not possess the passing or creation skills to supercharge the talent around them (they can make their teammates better, but it pales in comparison to the best perimeter offensive engines of all time like MJ/Bron/Wade/Kobe, who all have done some serious heavy lifting with volume scoring and playmaking). There's value in having such a resilient offensive anchor who can raise the offensive floor of a team in the playoffs, but the lack of quality passing in such players separates them from the very best offensive peaks of all time imo.
