Ainge has to take the chance even as a rental. If AD doesnt want to resign, Ainge can always flip him wherever AD wants to go. No one has to know that but Celtics and AD...it might not be the Lakers at that point.

Ainge may feel he can always recoup some of the assets he gave up to get AD. I believe if he comes to Boston he stays though.

How about no?

THJ sucks. Frank N isn't that good, and KP is a 7'3 footer coming off an ACL tear...

If Porzingis is unhappy NY. Kyrie and AD can meet up in NY.

Celtics would be very very deep if we could get Porzingis, Hardaway and FrankN

Rozier
Smart
Tatum
Porzingis
Horford

FrankN
Hardaway
Brown
Hayward
William's/Baynes

This team is better than the one we have now.

Cmon now an ACL these days is nothing. Hayward injury was worse.

My point is we can keep everyone and still have the picks if we want to go and package them for player. Porzingis in Stevens offense would look good.

ACL tears these day is nothing? Says who? Do you have statistical evidence to prove that?

Also if Kyrie/KP want to play together, how are they going to, when one is on Boston, other is in New York?

Porzingis isn't a heavy guy so his knees won't take the pounding. Many players have come back from ACLs. A 7 footer with that skill...he's Horford just taller.

I'm saying this only if it looks like we may lose Kyrie or not get AD. I would rather keep Brown and Tatum if possible.
