Man I wonder who is going to be the Leader of our team.  The Article on the front has me wondering what our Identity will be, and who will be the leader.   TP to the winners!

I think we're done with the captain concept. Did anyone care that rondo was captain for like 6 months before being traded?

If we do it, I see us giving it to kyrie as a way to persuade him to stay long term so he can be the confirmed "alpha dog" that he wants to be

It's p common for teams not to have a captain. We had discussed this again two years ago btw.

Brad does not believe in the concept.  He says they are all captains.

The Refs tend to talk to one player on the court don't they?

I think Big Al should be the Captain and Saltlover should be the Captian. :)

I'm expecting it to be Horford, assume he doesn't get traded by the suddenly trigger happy Ainge lol

It is, however, extremely uncommon for the Celtics not to have one, since a captain has been named for decades until we traded the last one in Rondo.

Well, if the Celtics do decide to have a captain, which I don't think is really necessary, it has to be Horford.

He's the epitome of cool, calm, collected and is a true lead by example player.

This ain't hockey.

A captain in basketball is more symbolic than anything.

He would not have been one unless he didn't make a stink behind the scene. You can tell that by CBS saying we wouldn't have one because he doesn't believe in it a little before they named RR captain. New guy didn't hold the stick while he was here, DA shipped him out so CBS wouldn't have that obstacle hindering his job.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
