These kids will be free agents someday and always remember this cool move This is masterclass in chess PR
Someday these kids will be free agents and Jaylen and Tatum will be a big draw
This has got to be the toughest ticket in town
.All these kids talking shop sharing experiences
From the undefeated piece:
Brown has commitments from the top five picks in the 2017 NBA draft to attend his party: Markelle Fultz of the Philadelphia 76ers, Lonzo Ball of the Los Angeles Lakers, Tatum, Phoenix Suns forward Josh Jackson and Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox, a source said. Other rookies include Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac, Sacramento Kings center Harry Giles and forward Justin Jackson, and Charlotte Hornets guard Malik Monk. The source added that 2017 NBA Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon and forward Thon Maker of the Milwaukee Bucks, Lakers forward Brandon Ingram, Suns forward Marquese Chriss, Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, Dallas Mavericks guard Yogi Ferrell and Kings guard Buddy Hield are expected to attend as well.
That's a heck of a guest list. I can already see the ESPN articles being written 7 years from now when the Celtics land a big free agent "The seeds were sewn at a party hosted by Jaylen Brown during Summer League in 2017."
I think that article will be written after he becomes president of the Player's Union, not recruiting a FA
Fair. But that's how journalism works now, anyway, right? Start with a hook (Jaylen's party) and then just apply it to whatever happens later and pretend like it was destined to be all along, be it a future start of this draft class coming to Boston or Jaylen becoming PU President.
