now that Bosh has officially been released and Boston officially has a glaring hole at PF, is it time to revisit the signing of Bosh idea that was floated on this board last season.  Clearly, there is a risk that Bosh will never play again or worse, but if he can find the right drug regimen and can safely play, I think he would be worth the Celtics taking a flyer on because if he can give you anything, he could be the difference in a close series against a team like the Cavs.

So thoughts?  Should Boston give Bosh a real look.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal
Wings -  Lebron James

Bosh is retiring. And frankly I dont want to risk it, for both our sakes.

I cannot in good conscience advocate signing a man who could die on the court at moment's notice, especially when that man has three kids.

Bosh gets a big "no" from me.

I second this.

Especially for a franchise that has both Len Bias and Reggie Lewis in the fairly recent past.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Physicians say that Bosh should never play again it's time to move on.

I would rather sign the actual RuPaul to play basketball than risk Bosh's life playing an ultimately meaningless game for entertainment.

I don't know his medical situation but if doctors say he isn't in any more danger playing basketball than anytime else, I'd give him a shot.

I echo everyone else's sentiment. Thumbs down on Bosh. We don't need a Reggie Lewis 2.0 episode. Plus I think Horford is more effective at the PF position. We need to look for a Durable Center.

Why on earth would you bring up a guy who doctors say shouldn't ever play again? Are you serious? Come on.  >:(
