Brad should of played Brown in the second half

I really think not playing Brown in the second half was a big mistake.
I know he missed his shots in the first half, but they were good shots, and we needed his size and athleticism. I hate these small lineups.

If Crowder is still around next season, you'll see Brown getting more and more of his minutes.

Other than shooting the 3, and more playing experience, Brown has it all over Crowder.

The Celtics last night lost because they couldn't score.  It's as simple as that.  They held the Wizards to their lowest point total in 6 weeks, only had 10 turnovers, and lost because they couldn't put the ball through the hoop.

Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown, who's jersey I wore to the game last night, so I'm obviously a fan of his, went 0-5 in his limited playing time, and was also scoreless the prior game.  I don't see how he would have been the panacea to what ailed the team last night (missed shots and questionable at best officiating).

Spot on.  Lots of people are just wishing things for brown when he isn't ready.

well if you are not scoring the only way you can win is to make sure that the other team scores even less than you......Brown could have helped with his size an athleticism for defense.

You play a guy 35-40 minutes, he doesn't have much left the last couple minutes when many games are decided. Doc used to do that, so did KC when the Celtics had no bench in the late 80s. It's counterproductive. Shortened Bird and McHale's careers, I think.

If we have to trade Crowder here are the teams I would want him on:

Cleveland - hate to say it, but he fits perfectly
San Antonio - bit weird now that Simmons has come out of nowhere, but he is the perfect backup to Kawhi
OKC - great fit at a position of weakness for them

You play a guy 35-40 minutes, he doesn't have much left the last couple minutes when many games are decided. Doc used to do that, so did KC when the Celtics had no bench in the late 80s. It's counterproductive. Shortened Bird and McHale's careers, I think.

That game was a coaching loss. Midway through the third Wizards were toast, cooked. All CBS had to do was put in the fresh legs of his bench to run them off the court, get his starters some rest to continue the assault on them in the fourth, but much to my surprise he kept riding his starters until they got tired and gave renewed life to the Wizards.

I don't think it was a coaching loss.  The starters were playing well against one of the best 5-man units in the NBA in the Wiz starting 5.  Letting them play a little longer than normal is not crazy.

If there was one mistake anyone can point to it was the Celtics being completely unprepared for the trap that lead to ITs brutal turnover that changed the game.
