would greatly hamper our want of paul george....but the nets will be a dumpster fire team next year. and is why we maybe should hold onto those picks.

Nets are terrible either way I think the trade that had the most potential to effect positioning next year was the boogie trade, I don't see the nets getting much better it's just a question of can another team or two get that much worse to meet them at the bottom.

With that said though the nets have to be a worse team without Lopez but is that really even possible they are like 1-25 in their last 26 with him healthy. I almost hope they keep everyone cause this team is historically bad, in my opinion, geography aside, they are in the worst position of any franchise in the history of the NBA it is pretty unprecedented.

This. I'd rather not have anything change with the nets at all. They're perfectly sucky enough as it is.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

If they have to give up one of the Nets picks to get a max player...I prefer it be 2018. That draft does not look to be as good as 2017.

It would be hard for the Pacers to match salaries without including Al Jefferson or Thad Young, and I don't see why Brooklyn would want those salaries unless they are getting a lot of draft picks.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I generally agree, but the Pacers don't have anything in the way of expirings.  If the Nets want to swap out Lopez for Monta Ellis or Al Jefferson, I will be perfectly okay.  My fear is that they either clear salary or get back players that fit better than Lopez.  The Pacers don't have those type of players to offer Brooklyn.
