Zizic isn't going anywhere. Watch him play. He's like Brown, except he's got all the tools at the 5 spot, instead of the 3/4. No way you part with him unless Cousins comes back. He's too fundamentally sound at 20 yrs of age to give up. Oh, and his 20 yr old frame ? His **** shoulder width goes from one side of the key to the other. This is a hog beast at the 5.

Nurkic went #14 (in a relatively strong draft.)

Zizic had the same production over longer minutes in the same league at the same age.  It doesn't take rocket science to guess that he might go in the lottery in this one.

He went 16th, for what it's worth.  One spot before James Young.  I still remember my howl when Denver took him, and thinking "crap, we get James Young or Gary Harris."  Retrospectively, Gary Harris would've been fine.

I was excited because that's when I knew we could get Rodney Hood.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say that.

If I recall correctly, Hood had been dropping like a rock on draft boards for a while at that point.  Just remember not wanting him at all (was hoping for Gary Harris).  Shows you what I know.

I wanted Hood over Young as I liked his demeanor and his being 6 8".  Had no clue at the time really, though.

I'd be happy to move Yabu; not sure he's an NBA player.

I'd prefer they keep Zizic.  They will need affordable big man help after they (likely) let Amir and Zeller walk this summer.
yabusele is a tough one to call. at times i see enormous offensive abilities. shooting is outstanding. can drive to the basket well. long, long arms for putting up shots close to the basket. with CBS' offenses he could fit right in.

and he is a good rebounder. defense? i have no real idea.

but then i look at the competition he is facing. it is awful. hell, even i could start on a couple of those teams.

the competition is so poor that i cant really judge what yabusele will do in the nba.

he might be great. he might be a bust. i am really curious to find out.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

If we are going to redo that draft just think:

We could have had Zach Lavine and Rodney Hood instead of Marcus Smart and James Young.

Which would you have rather drafted in a do over?

Lavine is looking like a mighty fine offensive player right now:

Ill take Smart over Lavine all day long.

Obviously Hood or Capela over young would have been great, but I never had a problem with the pick. Ainge took a swing and he missed.

just watched high lites darussafaka vs emporio on u tube
zizic started strong and ran the court but later on looked like he was slower
could have been tape-still led team in rebounds and blocked two shots and scored 17pts  with very high %
