Congrats to Brad but also congrats on a very successful rebuild. Two years ago today we were 17-30. Now we're 32-18 and 2nd in the conference. Oh yeah, and with the best chance in the league at the #1 pick.

It's easy to get caught up in the moment, but we've come a ridiculously long way in a very short time. And Stevens has been a huge part of it. This and the wins record makes it yet another great day to be a Celtics fan.

Stevens has been terrific.  I always want the Celtics to win every game, but I really hope we can go undefeated the rest of the way to the All-Star break.  Stevens is six games under .500 for his career.  If the team wins out, the screen can flash a >.500 number for his career winning percentage.

Good stuff.  It's as if the team's recent hot streak has been for the coach in an effort to get him that honor.

Well done, Celtics!!!

Ainge's decision to hire Stevens will probably remain as one of the most overlooked moves of the C's rebuild.  I recall being a bit shocked at the time of the news of Stevens' hiring since the search for a new coach following Doc's departure didn't last very long.  Now we know why.

Well deserved for Stevens.  We're fortunate to have him as our coach.  I'm glad he signed an extension with us and expressed a desire to remain with the C's "as long as we want him here".

I don't think anyone overlooks that. A ton of posters around here would always respond to the "We need a star posts" with we already have one, CBS.

TP for the absolutely correct observation...we did recognize the gem we had very early on, and Danny did his best scouting job to pluck this gem and to sign him long term as a Celtic. I believe the experience will add to Steven's growth as a coach.

GO CELTICS !!!!!

This could become HUGE for our free agency appeal as the superstars of the league will get to know Brad on a personal level.
