I am talking Points, Rebounds, Assist, defense or anything that helps win a game.

So combining all possible combinations I think SF is our weakest.  Production from our SF is at bare minimum this season.  I am thinking in part because of ETurner's departure leaving JCrwoder, JBrown and at times Smart....to man the 3.  Combined numbers coming out of our SF is low.

Disclaimer: I have no data to support my choice, just eye test...

What say you?

Eye test, it's PF for me. AJ, JJ and KO can be down right bad and we have no answers. At least at SF you can always guarantee effort.

Where do we begin.

True enough most nights we don't get enough production from the SF position in general. Crowder scores well when he's hitting the 3, but not so well when he's not. In general he defends well, but is a less than average passer, and ball handler. His lack of length, size and ball handling, are reason enough to indicate he would have trouble creating his own offense. But it's not a glaring need.

I voted for the Center position, not because we totally lack talent their, but because we have no bench, that we can turn to a true Center to bang with the biggest players in the league. Even with adding Horford to the team, and with Sully gone, we have no player to regain control over the boards.

So taking in to consideration the style of basketball the Celtics play, I feel we still are in need of a true Center, that can at the very least defend well, protect the rim, rebound and hopefully not give up the "despised" offensive rebound.

I think people are miss-classifying the positions of Horford and Amir Johnson. Horford is a PF, AJ is a Center. That is why I voted Center. I think some of the PF votes are confusing for this reason.

I think the starters acquit themselves well. Back up at the guard positions as well. We go small quite a bit and Brown has shown flashes enough that the SF position is fine.

The back up bigs are where we have trouble. KO and JJ have their moments but are inconsistent in impact. I went for PF but it largely depends on what you classify Horford as.
