especially if you are an millionaire, yes it's a HUGE money but does it really makes so much difference in your life?
My guess is he want's to stay because he wants to be the BOSS on the team and can do whatever he wants
How many people retire from their jobs in their 30's? If he wan't to keep up his lifestyle then every million helps. This is his JOB not just something to do for fun. I'll never look down on someone for taking the money. Now if you're a mega star and make money in other ways that's one thing. But just a normal player should look to get paid.
this is my thought as well...while winning and legacy are very important to a lot people, most super stars do end up getting paid regardless, not many superstars took a huge paycut in order to win
I don't think any superstars or stars would turn down an additional 10 mil total for a contract. 200 mil is HUGE money.
and I agree, money will always be a factor.
