For the month of December, Isaiah Thomas averaged 30.3 ppg on .483/.387/.929 shooting splits. He also averaged only 2.2 TO's per game while dishing 5.9 apg. During those games, the Celtics went 9-3 and they went 1-3 in the 4 games he missed.

Those are the kind of stats that make a player 'The Truth' too bad that nickname is already taken.

Or simply, in its uniqueness, "The Little Guy" (Thanks Tommy H.)

For those who haven't seen it, I suggest you watch this video. You'll understand how and why he get to the next level this year.

After watching this, I feel we have better odds this season than our modest w-l record currently implies. We are finding out whether we can win with Isaiah. It's going to take a total team effort. There is plenty of time, this year and next, for Danny to evaluate Isaiah. I don't think he's going anywhere based on this video. The dude is thoroughly locked in, dedicated and still improving.

Isaiah went through some absurd weight and endurance training. You have to see it to believe it.

The video shows that he is as good a person in real life as he appears on the court. Bitter cynical ingrate fans should check it out for his skills. Ray Allen was known for a maniacal training routine. Isaiah is the same kind of freak.

It's all about gelling. Isaiah can do the best he can on defense and his teammates can adjust and plan with him for wins. That is Celtics Tradition and Ubuntu.

No one is complaining Isaiah is too short on offense. He is putting up big numbers. Captain Obvious says if we score more on offense than the opponents do, we win.

How soon so many have forgotten KG's scream, "Anything is possible."
