I think it's because Mike Scott on the hawks is out for a long time. So they needed some backup

I'd go for Tavares, he would be a much better edition to the Celtics than Ryan Kelly.

I thought things were meant to have been going well for Tavares.

Surprised they let him go. He looked a promising big man project.
