I feel like we as Celtics fans never truly appreciated his contributions to our team.
Sure we cringed every time he took a jump shot, and hated his tunnel visions drives to the hoop while committing an offensive foul, but he played world class defense for us.
It's nice to see that he stabilized his career with the Grizzlies.
He was one of the love/hate players we had on the Celtics that imo got a lot of un-necessary hate...and the contract that we balked at him signing turned out to be a huge bargain.
