C's are over the cap.  Just wondering how we signed him.  I think if he signed for veteran minimum, that does not count against room exception. 

Am I close?  A little help here Salty...

Presumably he was signed to a minimum deal with a small guarantee.  There's no reason he would have signed for more.  Minimum salary deals for 1 or 2 seasons can be signed regardless of cap space -- there is the minimum salary exception, so it's separate from the room exception.
