Poll: Do U believe Ainge wanted Herangomez over Yabu

 I heard the rumor we wanted 6'9" 77.4% Free throw shooter And offensive weapon Juan Herangomez. Eddie brought it up in another thread.

 I want to hear CB's opinion on whether or not this was a credible report.

Yes, I heard and believe that rumor. I think the Dancing Bear was plan B.

I'm quite sure that it was reported a while back that Ainge was certainly interested in him.

Juan Herangomez
He looked better in summer league and even played in the Olympics.  I thought Herangomez played with more confidence than Yabusele in summer league.  Yabusele looks like he will have trouble playing defense against NBA starters.  I think he will be a lot like Young on defense, a step too slow.   Herangomez looks like he can play good team defense now but will need more strength to defend NBA starters 1 on 1.  Yabusele has the strength but lacks the mental side, the defensive awareness, to be effective defensively.    I'm really surprised the Celtics were on board with him going to the CBA when he needs to work on his defense, since they play no defense there.  I would have liked to see him go to  Spain, but I think he would have been better staying in France, rather than go to the CBA.

Who has the better outside shot?  Also I think Ainge was looking more in terms of bigs
