I have a feeling the Jazz are gonna be pretty good this year.  Hayward's gonna be with the Jazz till he's in his mid-30s, I think.  They will be a 45-55 win team for the next 5-6 years.  Maybe make it past the 1st round a couple times.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

We've got Jae Crowder entering his prime, and we've used a #3 pick on Jaylen Brown. That is a pick where you expect at least a 50/50 chance of the player developing into an all-star or better. If Brown looks to be on the proper trajectory by year's end, I don't see Ainge burning a slot like that on a not quite all-star like Hayward, which would leave no minutes for Brown's development. The impact on our team will be marginal at best

Hayward is mainly a two guard though. If we could sign Hayward and move Smart for Noel and afford everyone that would be ideal.

 Noel
 Horford
 Crowder
 Hayward
 Thomas

 Zizic
 Yabu
 Brown
 Bradley
 Rozier

He is? I thought he was a pretty natural three that could play some small-ball 4. I'm not sure that he has the foot speed and lateral quickness to be a full time 2.

I guess he's a true swing. He can play both positions well. He's a good guy to have for that reason.

Turner could too, but couldn't really shoot.

That has been the thoughts of many the last 3 years.
