Looking down the FA trackers list this A.M. and amazed at how fast Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ency has moved and how very little left in the way of difference makers! Especially thin is frontcourt help, where we definitely have needs.
Danny better be lining up some deals, or a huge deal to bring us some parts(as has been rumored), cause things could be ugly if he can't get something done!
Anyway, any thoughts out there about FA's still out there that you think could be difference makers for us??  I'm really having trouble seeing any!

If Danny was looking to add any FAs, he would have done so after Durant made his choice.  Whether or not a deal goes down, I think he's gonna stay away from FAs and use our own bigs (Horford, Amir, KO, and Zeller) along with some rookies (Yabusele, Bentil) to fill the rotation
I'm bitter.

I'm generally happy with the team this year even if we don't make a big splash. Adding Horford to our rotation should make us a better team for the upcoming season, and if we don't trade for a star, we still have a great shot at a top pick next year with how bad Brooklyn is.

Or what? We'll have a returning 48 win team where we will have added Al Horford to a position of weakness to? There is nothing you can do to push us to a championship this season, so making short term decisions is stupid. If you can make a trade that drastically improves us at a reasonable price then do it. If you can't don't make a trade just to make fans happy.

I can live with where we are right now and be excited as we move forward on next season.  Bottom line:
1.  Horford in > Sully out...that has to be worth a couple of extra wins
2.  Jaylen Brown in < Evan Turner out weakens our bench in the short term, creates upside in the long term.
3.  We have players ready to take Turner's minutes.  Terry Rozier is having a great summer, and we ope our you players like Smart and Crowder are working hard to improve.
4.  Ainge has us in a great spot.  His trade with the Nets was a franchise shifting move.  We are only half way through what it will mean for us, with two more possible lottery picks to go, and Jaylen Brown to develop.  I will be glad when we are playing championship basketball and but I can be patient as long as we are getting better and have options.  I think most of the trade talk right now is bogus, trying to generate some energy and posturing for advantage.  I think we may do a little small, fine tuning before camp, but trades will more likely be closer to the deadline when other teams realize that throwing guys together doesn't make a team, and somebody wants out.  Everyone wants to test and see what they have for a few weeks into the season first.
