Major bummer.  I was excited to see how he would follow up last night's performance.  Hopefully he only misses tonight's game.

On the positive, that may mean more shots for Rozier.  I expect him to go for 20+ tonight, especially because the Jazz' squad looks pretty weak.  Watched them last night after our game, and their talent pool just isn't at our level.  Especially in the backcourt.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Maybe we can showcase Young. Lol

We will showcase him allowing the opponents to break a summer league record for blocks as they stuff him and throw him to the floor.
Young Played well last night. He grabbed some good boards made some three. I am hopeful

Wow so dumb. Wanted to see him play, but I get it from the C's perspective.

They were talking about it on NBA radio and the feeling is that it's only mild soreness if anything. Basically jaylen wanted to play tonight, but the celtics were kind of just being careful.

They were also saying alot of positive things about jaylen. One note I found interesting was about his negative interviews around the combine. Apparently he showed up in a full suit when most guys came in shorts and a tee shirt. He was carrying a briefcase and made sure to shake everyone's hands in the room. He also was very powerful with his eye contact, and it was his intelligence, not his attitude that scared a few teams.

One of the guys was laughing saying if he is trying to one hand throw down dunk over a big in summer league from the free throw line area at 19, imagine what he will be trying in a game after a few years of nba conditioning closer to his athletic prime.

Good stuff. I don't understand why NBA teams viewed his intelligence as a negative. It sounds like he's just more mature, well-spoken and professional than other guys his age - why would you hold that against him?

Jesus.

I suppose Rozier would be the logical guy to expect big numbers from tonight.

Still holding out hope for James Young. No Jaylen Brown should mean more shots for him too. Perhaps Hunter as well.

This is karma for me laughing at Simmons last night.

Sorry guys.

The funny thing is, I didn't have access to Celticsblog at the time and as soon as I saw Simmons with some cramps I thought to myself, "I bet people on CB are laughing and calling him the next Embiid - before this game is over Jaylen Brown will probably end up having a major injury".

I literally thought that.

Luckily this one doesn't look too significant.
