Boogie is worth all of our first-round picks the next three years.

I think so...

When you get him.......it's ON .....full tilt BOOGIE to hang a banner .

Pull out all stops ......talent like Cousins is once in 10-20 years
This is false.

Whoa, slow down there pal. All first round picks for the next three years?

Boogie is under control for just two more years.

What if he leaves after 2018. Then what? Mortgaged our farm already to get him.

No risk, no reward. Cousins will love being the man in Boston after he gets a taste of winning.

I am telling you, folks: Cousins is poised to be the next Shaq if he lands on the right team with the right coach. I hope it's for us.

Random memory: Draymond Green was ripping into GSW during a timeout (I think it was game 3 or 4 vs. the Cavs) and mike breen or Mark Jackson was saying the usual rhetoric of him being the emotional leader and how Draymond is pure heart and passion.

Van Gundy then brings up how it's funny that because DG is on a winning team, him calling out his teammates is called passion. But if DG was on a losing team, we would be saying he's a malcontent. While I don't think Cousins has been a saint in Sacramento, I feel like he's not as much of a head case as people make him out to be. I think he'd be terrific for this team.

Totally true, been saying this for ages.

Draymond Green is as much of a headcase as Cousins is - maybe more.  If he's this much of a drama starter on a winning team, imagine if he was on a stinker like the Kings, how muc drama he would create?

He's be copping criticism left, right and center.

Actually, he's not far off.

DMC's stats the past 2-3 seasons have been historically good once you factor in his modest minute.

Compare his Per 36 stats against guys like Hakeem, Robinson, Shaq, Ewing, Malone, Barkley, Duncan, Garnett (and the like) at the same point in their careers - you'll see that Cousins' stats relative to his experience level are well and truly up there with the all time greats.

He's been historically good.

So a friend of mine is close friends with Ken Catanella, went to Springfield University together. For those who don't know, Ken Catanella is the new Asst GM of the Sacramento Kings. Former Detroit Pistons exec and well plugged in, in the MA landscape as he has relationships with MIT Sloan, etc.

My friend said Ken was sh*tfaced at a recent MIT Sloan Sports Analytics conference and would not answer the questions being thrown his way but was alluding to DeMarcus Cousins being traded. One of those situations where he was very talkative in dis-spelling things being said but being tight lipped when asked about Cousins being traded to the Celtics (the event was in Boston so there were a bunch of us degenerates there throwing questions at him).

I really hope that Danny can pull something off for this guy. He is the only player in the league right now worthy of sending large quantities of draft picks/players back to.

One would have to imagine Lakers being a more appropriate trade partner. But one can dream...

Say what?!?

By "recent," you mean the conference that took place three months ago? Interesting that we're hearing this little tidbit now.

At the time, Catanella was still with the Pistons. Why would he have had any knowledge of a Cousins trade then? He wasn't hired by SAC until more than a month later.
