I'm sure if we end up with Dunn, it's because Ainge thinks he's the best option so I'm not all that worried... but I can't say I'm all that excited about adding a 23 year old injury-prone rookie who plays the most bountiful position in the nba, supposedly is unlikely to be an all-star, and supposedly can't shoot.   Kind of had higher hopes with the pick than adding another guard that we may or may not have 5-15 minutes per game for.

But if that's the pick... I'll just be waiting for that other shoe to drop, because I can't imagine we'd ride into next season with Thomas, Bradley, Smart, Dunn, Rozier, Hunter, Turner and Young.

Where did you get "unlikely to be an all-star"? Most mocks had him as a likely all-star and some even say he's the best prospect outside of Simmons down the line. He is a decent shooter, 37% from 3 last season. He is also not 23 but only 22.

Maybe we keep Thomas, Bradley and Smart with Dunn. If we trade Bradley (since he has the most value as a plug and play type of player) I hope we trade him to the West. I dont have dreams of watching our guards get pestered by AB.

Really though if we Draft Dunn Turner is gone. Now we are down to 7 guards. Young is horrible and  Hunter will hardly play, so now it's  down to five, and Rozier has promise but will play sparingly as a backup, down to Four.

So really four guys would get heavy minutes

 Thomas, Bradley, Smart, Dunn.

Yup, this ^^

[dang] please NBA DRAFT JUST START ALREADY.....

these names in my head all the time.......

Dunn...
Bender...
Chriss...
Murray...
Hield...
Brown...

Lets hope we are LUCKY and draft a STAR for years to come :)

Which brings up a good issue: Once the draft is over, what am I going to do with all my spare time?

I think what Dunn will do is help skip signing or overpaying for Turner

We need another ball handler other than IT.

Just got a bleacherreport notification

I don't think that Bleacher Report is credible.

It was a report from some ESPN guy.

It said Dunn is the favorite. It's not set in stone yet.

Goodman, meanwhile, has said its still between Dunn and Brown.

The mentality here amazes me. People hate on BR yet they're a legit site.  Andy Katz has only been working at ESPN  for over 16 years. You know, other people can have info other than Woj!

Andy Katz is very credible.  He broke the Sebastian Telfair trade right before the 2006 draft.  I remember like yesterday, such a miserable draft night.

Well if he was right, here is where I would say "Sorry, Andy Katz and Bleacher Report are credible".  They were wrong and I don't think that they're credible.
