evan turner is now a celtic and a product of the organiztion and brad
we got great value on his last contract
smart ,avery isaiah are missing what turner has
 durability
his height to weight coupled with just the right amount of atleticism and flexability
celtics pride was right
evan does still have upside, considerable upside
rozier can get into paint but can't fininsh again
how many 6-7 guys do what evan does
he is a perfect fit for brads system and if he puts some work into that three
boston had to rework what philly did-remember where evan got drafted-
give evan what he is worth he is very good value for money-
when avery, crowder ,isaiah get hurt, turner comes to rescue both offensively and defensivly

Turner is valuable but I think we've already seen how he is most valuable: as a bench leader. He needs the ball in his hands to be effective but he just isn't good enough to run an offense as a starter. I like what he's brought these last 2 years but I think the team can do better. I hate to see a player walk for nothing but if he can be replaced by someone like Valentine (in the draft) or someone like Batum (I know all indications are that he's returning to Charlotte but he's definitely the type of guy I would love to nab in free agency) I would be fine with it.

without turner the bench will fall apart-
the bench is full of rookies and flawed players that turner takes the pressure off of-lets have some semblence of continuity
turner was in the voting for 6th man and the celts are famous for that
sign him and trade later if rookies or 2nd year guys can show they are ready-get on that phone right after the draft be his first phone call-
his work with young guys will keep from having chaos, protect agains injuries at key positions and his trade value mid season may be higher and at least we get something in return- turner and i stress plays multiple position, at 6-7 he dominates smaller guards in the paint ,he is undaunted by pressure and makes his teamates better--durant isn't coming this year,a butler trade very disruptive and even if a rook has physicals to play it will take half a season or more

In 2013-14, Isaiah averaged 34.7 minutes for 72 games. Last year he averaged 32.2 minutes and didn't miss any games. PG is not a priority, but it'd be nice to have someone competent for the 15 minutes Isaiah sits.

Marcus, Rozier, and Turner are competing for those minutes. We could survive without Turner for pg, but you'd be taking a risk.

With all due respect as currently stands, there isn't much of a need for Hunter unless Smart or Bradley gets traded. There are only so many minutes unless you play Smart at small forward.

I like the idea of a tall shooting guard. Maybe that is also Evan Turner. I agree with Rollie Turner is looking at some serious upside. One would have had to be blind not to see how good Turner got. He is not great, but he plays with ice in his veins.

I admit Olynyk is on the clock. He has to step up. No more deer eye's staring at the headlights. Sully is a year ahead than Olynyk in the process. He failed and he is done in Boston. By the end of the year it became obvious he succumbed to a food addiction or just doesn't care about his body. I'll miss Sully. He could have been like Milsap, I mean players who emerged and you have to admit they are very good. That could have been Sullinger.

Evan Turner is in a good spot. He just turned 27. He is entering his prime.

His upside will be if he tightens the turnover number even further and try to not be a ball hog unless there's no other option.

He played for crazy teams. He could be a Dwight Evans, a second half of career kind of player.

I would bet ten bucks that Turner is resigned by Boston.
