there is a report on ESPN that Nigel Hayes told the Celtics that if they pick him he will shoot 5,000 shots a day or whatever the team wants. He mentioned that he knows we are looking seriously for a volume scoring wing.

Very early on, he was actually in the first round I think. He's fallen off since but maybe he would be a useful guy for us.

PASS. Why not shoot those shots with or without being picked? CBS and DA pick the guys who already do the work (don't think about Sully but everyone else lol). What else will he want handed to him after we pick him to make other parts of his game better? We'll probably have to wait for his next payday for him to get better in other areas. "Give me 10mil per year and I will carry a ball with me wherever I go and practice dribbling all day."

If anything, it at least puts him on Ainge's radar for later.  I have to think Ainge likes an attitude like that

Nigel Hayes is not the best player on Wisconsin: this year or last year.

But he is a great option for one of the 2nd round picks.  Once a 1st round prospect in the teens, he did not make the progress this year that was expected.  Will he take 5,000 shots as a 2nd round pick?
